If you see this message when attempting to take a quiz or exam in Canvas, follow these steps to successfully take your quiz or exam.
Launch "Lockdown Browser" on your computer.
On macOS computers, Lockdown Browser can be found in your "Applications" folder.
On Windows computers, Lockdown Browser can be found by searching for "Lockdown" in your start menu.
If you can't find Lockdown Browser, you can install it using this link: https://download.respondus.com/lockdown/download.php?id=597944761
Login with your St. Norbert email and password, when prompted.
Once you're logged in, navigate to the class where your quiz or exam resides. You will be able to start the quiz or exam from there.
