All college-owned computers will already have a printer installed called "Follow Me Printer". Staff and Faculty can use this print queue to print to any printer on campus (no need to install each printer individually).
If, for some reason, an employee is missing this print queue on their machine, follow these steps to install this print queue on a college-owned computer:
Windows:
- Open File Explorer.
- In the address bar near the top to the left of the Search bar, type \\printsrv04\Follow Me Printer and hit Enter.
- Wait for the install to finish. You should see the print queue open in a new window. Once it does, you can close this window. Next time you go to print, you should see "Follow Me Printer" in your printer list.
Mac:
- In Finder click on Applications, open the "Self Service" application.
- Under Browse on the Home page, click "Install Printers".
- Once the list of printers displays, click the "Install Printer" button underneath the icon that says "Follow Me Printer" and wait for the install to finish.
