WeVideo is web-based video editing software that is available to students, staff and faculty for use in class or for other video editing projects. WeVideo itself is free, but if you need make videos longer than 5 minutes or utilize any of WeVideo's other paid features, you can request a license by contacting the ITS Service Desk or making an appointment with the Tech Bar. The college has a limited number of licenses available for use, so licenses are not guaranteed to be available for everyone that asks for them. For faculty members wanting to use WeVideo in the classroom, you can contact the Tech Bar about providing the invite link to the entire class.
We recommend that you use the "Sign up with Google" button and use your SNC Google account even if you are using the free version of WeVideo so that if you need the paid functionality at some point in the future, your existing account can be seamlessly upgraded. This allows you to continue working on your project instead of starting over using a new account.
