To get started, make sure the picture you want to set as your profile picture is on the computer you're setting the picture from, then follow the respective guide below.
Workday
Students
The picture used for Workday is the picture that Campus Card Services has on file. To change your Campus Card picture, refer to the Photo Submission tab on the Campus Card homepage.
Faculty and Staff
The picture used for Workday is the professional headshot taken through Communications. If you would like this retaken, contact the Office of Communications at communications@snc.edu.
KnightLine
Students

Canvas
Log into Canvas.
Click "Account on the left side bar and select "Profile".
Click the 3 dots on the right side of the page, and then select "Edit Profile".
On the next page, you'll need to click on your profile picture icon (a pencil icon will appear in the lower right corner of the icon when you hover over it).
In this window that pops up, click "choose a picture" and navigate to the file you want to make your profile picture
Once your picture has been uploaded, resize the picture to your liking, and then click "Save".
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Update profile".
Google
When using Google, a profile picture can be used instead of the first letter of your name. This affects many apps in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Meet, etc.)
Here are instructions on how to change it:
- On your computer, open Gmail.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Manage your Google Account.
- On your Google Account page, tap "Personal info."
- Under "Profile," tap your current profile picture.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to choose or take a photo.
- Tap Set Profile Photo.
Zoom
To change your profile picture in Zoom.
- Visit your profile page at https://snc-edu.zoom.us/profile
- In the section with your name and other personal details, click the pencil icon
in the picture frame.
- Click Change.
- Select your preferred picture and then click Open.
Note: Please select a jpg/jpeg, gif, or png image file with a size smaller than 2MB.
- (Optional) Adjust the crop area as needed.
- Click Save.
