The toolbar, navigation menu, and knowledge center are available to users of all security groups; however, the options displayed to you may vary based upon which group you are in. This document will provide an overview of Workday Adaptive Planning’s main navigation features.
Toolbar
Every page in the Adaptive Insights has the same toolbar across the very top.
- Click the Workday logo to open the navigation menu, where you can browse to different areas of the Adaptive Insights or return to the homepage by selecting Home.
- Use the breadcrumbs to see where you are and link to where you've been. For example, if you're currently on the Open Positions sheet, select the Sheets breadcrumb to link back to the overview where you can open a different sheet.
- Select the version. Your default version is set by your admin.
- Click the question mark any time to open contextual help pages.
- Click your profile icon (indicated by your photo or initials) to change your profile settings, return to the homepage, or to log out.
Navigation Menu
Click Workday logo to open the navigation menu to browse different areas of Adaptive Insights. Click a menu item to go to its overview page or click the arrow to the right of the menu item to view more links for that area.
Navigation Help in the Knowledge Center
Every section of the knowledge center has an interface tour page like the one demonstrated below. Look for the 
navigation icon in the toolbar to bring up further information regarding your current page including walkthroughs and term definitions and explanations.
