How to Create a Zoom Event in Canvas

To create a single digital location where all of your class sessions can take place, you may want to create a recurring Zoom meeting within Canvas.  These instructions will help you create a recurring Zoom class link, and will also provide instructions for recording the class sessions to Canvas Studio.

Authorize Zoom Integration

If you haven’t already done so, Authorize Zoom Integration within Canvas Studio. (If you are unsure if you've already authorized zoom integration, you can follow the same directions to confirm.)

Schedule a Recurring Meeting

  • Click on the "Zoom" menu item (in your Canvas course left navigation) to launch the Zoom interface inside of your Canvas course.
